- In British English when a word ends in -r or -re we only say the /r/ sound when the next word begins with a vowel sound.
- There are also consonant-vowel links which help to make speech flow smoothly.

Interesting, because taking into account how in a fluent conversation the words are mixed is important, but the really important thing, in my oppinion, is the practise. In any case it is difficult for us. At least, I can undertand the listenning, it is a great advance for me.
